I'm Cariny, a passionate software engineer with experience on both large and small projects in fast-paced environments. Most recently I worked at Equips, building and scaling a work order and claims management platform.

I've worked with many frameworks and libraries, and I spend most of my time in the JavaScript/TypeScript ecosystem, especially React, Node, GraphQL and AWS. I'm always learning and growing my skill set. I also build with AI every day, using Claude to prototype, design and ship features faster, and I co-led AI skills sessions for my engineering team.

When I'm not coding, you'll find me hanging out with my friends, reading, traveling or training martial arts.

Adjuster and manager dashboards

I led the design and delivery of dashboards for a major insurance client, giving managers and adjusters clear visibility into their workload: claims created, open claims, overdue work by team, and claims still waiting on adjudication.

I built a working mock in Claude Code first, so stakeholders could react to something real before we wrote production code.

Recurring service request schedules

Customers set up recurring preventative maintenance once, and service requests are generated automatically by location and equipment. Before this, every service request had to be created by hand.

Teams can see every schedule at a glance, with its assignee, frequency, location and next due date.
